On her Trying Not To Think About It Tour, JoJo was looking for a busked show, but with a rigid show backbone, and specific cues and color palettes for each song.

While traditionally slow gobo rotations, soft movements and delicate color palettes are traditionally used for R&B, I utilized flashy hits to mimic the dynamics in her music. Busking the show in each venue with the guidelines provided by her creative director, I kept notes on the console for each track, to ensure key moments were accented correctly.
